Room Arranging Made Easy — How To Set Up Your Room With Discount Modern Furniture

First, think of how your room will be used. Is it a destination room that people go to, or a pathway to an adjoining room that people go through? Will you be entertaining guests in the room? For the dining room, you want about 20 inches of depth for a dining room chair plus 16 or so inches to push back from the table. Each person needs at least 24 inches for sitting around the table, and to serve you will want to have about 46 inches of space between the table and the wall so you can move about easily.

In the bedroom, you want to leave around 24 inches or more between the wall and the bed in order to be able to get out of bed easily, and at least 36 inches between the foot of your bed and the door to the room.
